3. Third-Party Platform Disclaimers

3.1 Third-Party Platform Relationship

• ParentChecked operates independently from all gaming platforms we monitor
• We access only publicly available information through official public APIs
• We do not have any special relationship or agreement with Roblox Corporation or other platforms
• Any issues with the gaming platforms themselves must be addressed directly with those platforms
• Platform policies, terms of service, and community standards are controlled by the respective platform owners

3.2 Monitoring Scope and Limitations

Our monitoring capabilities are limited to publicly available information and do not include:

• Private messages or chat logs (which we cannot and do not access)
• In-game voice communications
• Private or restricted profile information
• Account settings or passwords
• Direct control over gaming platform accounts

3.3 Platform Compliance

5.3 Refunds and Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Refunds are provided on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to our refund policy.

5.4 Service Discontinuation

ParentChecked reserves the right to discontinue the service at any time for any reason, including but not limited to business closure, technical issues, legal requirements, or strategic decisions. In the event of service discontinuation:

• No Refunds: No refunds will be provided for unused subscription time or prepaid fees
• Data Export: We will provide reasonable notice and opportunity to export your data where technically feasible
• Service Termination: All monitoring services will cease immediately upon discontinuation
• Account Access: User accounts and dashboards may become inaccessible without prior notice

By subscribing to ParentChecked, you acknowledge and agree that you are not entitled to refunds in the event of service discontinuation, regardless of the reason or remaining subscription time.

• Parent account information (name, email, phone)
• Children's information (name, birthdate, gaming platform usernames)
• Publicly available monitoring data from connected gaming platforms

7. Service Limitations and Disclaimers

7.1 Service Availability

While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. ParentChecked may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues.

7.2 Monitoring Limitations

Our service depends on third-party gaming platforms and their public APIs. We cannot guarantee complete monitoring coverage or real-time detection of all potentially harmful interactions. Platform changes, API limitations, or technical issues may affect service quality.

7.3 No Substitute for Parental Supervision

ParentChecked is a tool to assist parents but is not a substitute for active parental supervision and communication with children about online safety. We strongly encourage parents to maintain open dialogue with their children about online activities and digital citizenship.

8. Prohibited Uses

You may not use ParentChecked to:

• Monitor children without proper legal authority as a parent or guardian
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Harass, abuse, or harm others
• Attempt to reverse engineer or hack our systems
• Share account access with unauthorized users
• Use the service for any illegal or harmful purposes
• Circumvent or violate gaming platform terms of service
• Monitor individuals who are not your minor children

9. Intellectual Property

The ParentChecked service, including its software, design, text, graphics, and other content, is the property of ParentChecked and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

All trademarks, logos, and brand names of gaming platforms (including Roblox®) are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.

10. Limitation of Liability

ParentChecked shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the service during the twelve months preceding the claim.

We are not responsible for actions taken by gaming platforms, changes to their APIs or policies, or any direct interactions

This limitation of liability includes, but is not limited to, any damages or losses resulting from service discontinuation, website deletion, server failures, or any other interruption of service, regardless of duration or cause.
